Strategy Manager - BFSI/BPO (4-10 yrs)

Role Purpose:

- Conceptualize, design and implement best in class provisioning methodology for Europe/Middle East

- Completely understand different dimensions of provisioning model and has the ability to explain them to very senior stakeholders including that of provisioning leads in other countries

- Action oriented and on time reporting & analysis to explain significant changes and proactively look to stay tuned to portfolio specific nuances

- Stay on top of changing regulatory needs, reporting standards and understand their impact on the day to day work

- Developing a suite of IFRS 9 provisioning models for a range of portfolios

- Ensure appropriate governance is followed and model developments within the remit fully comply with external regulation and internal governance

- Support the region and engage in global discussion in best practice

- Actively help managing the team's workload ensuring that prioritization of activities is established with stakeholders

- Coaching and technical support for other members within modelling team on a need basis

- In addition the role is expected to thoroughly understand Basel, Stress Testing and Sherwood concepts as the provisioning model will leverage inputs from these critical areas to model the output

Other Managerial Responsibility-

- Responsible for end-to-end project management and hands on delivery when required. He should ensure productivity and output of the team should fall in line with the stated SLAs. Monthly monitoring and review of all projects with stakeholders to ensure that all stated SLAs are met

- Recruit, on-board, train, coach, develop talent and proactively retain high performing team members of analytics

- Work with multiple customers/functions on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

- Manage relationship with key stakeholders in the Business (Onshore and Offshore) to build confidence in team and enable stakeholders investment in development of the team

- Drive Analytics wide initiatives (Recruitment, Process-efficiency, On-boarding etc...)

- Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing QA/QC framework for identified processes and ensures adherence and constant improvement

- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls.

Skills/Experience Required

- 4 year Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputed University with concentration on marketing, finance, economics or other quantitative field such as statistics or engineering.

- Strong analytical skills with several years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of different functions of risk analytics in the context financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.

- Prior experience of portfolio analytics, forecasting, provisioning or P&L / Balance sheet modelling functions

- Knowledge of SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools is a plus

- Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.
