Strategy Lead & Chief Administrative Officer - NBFC (8-10 yrs)

This recently established new age financial institution is registered with RBI as a Non-Deposit taking NBFC and is strongly backed by established investors. They operate in the SME lending space with the aim of helping to fuel India's economic growth. The founders and partners have been industry leaders in their practice and are very well renowned globally in Financial Services space including partners in bulge bracket investment banks and leading global consulting firms. 


Based out of BKC (Mumbai), this NBFC has built a strong core team and is preparing for launch across India. To further strengthen its leadership, they are looking for a Strategy Lead & Chief Administrative Officer to work closely with and support the CEO/CFO and partners as they further refine group strategy, crystallise their organisational structure and identify company wide synergies.

Key responsibilities will include :

- Helping develop strategic business goals and objectives and designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of company goals

- Tracking, analyzing and communicating key quantitative metrics and business trends

- Forecasting and monitoring market trends, gathering data, carrying out necessary analysis and preparing reports for management. This also involves assessing risks, noting opportunities for expansion, setting overall goals and metrics, and proposing projects or systems to move the company forward.

- Taking a leadership role for internal initiatives and projects as required - for example, you will be expected to work closely with the partners to monitor implementation of strategic projects - for example working with relevant risk functions on modifying policies or create new ones in response to developing country needs and changing industry standards and monitoring the impact of such changes

- Assisting and communicating with the partners in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation - i.e. become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct executive relationships with key partners.

- Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

- Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with the CEO/CFO and partners on special projects

Skills and Qualifications :

- Up to 8 years in a management consulting/strategy role with a management consulting firm or FI

- Experience with data analysis and management

- Proven experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

- Effective leadership and managerial skills and be capable of balancing multiple projects and responsibilities
