Strategy Head - Agri Lending (8-15 yrs)
1 A candidate with banking work experience - Agri lending experience must.
2. To head the Myanmar entity, the entity is in the business of warehousing and lending.
3. Responsibility for the P&L, strategy, Business development, Operations, HR and administration.
4. Should have managed teams of 25-50 people.
- Exploring business opportunities under Agri SME, Commodity Funding and Corporate Agri Business (irrespective of exposure) in the nominated Region.
- Plan to achieve the set target & profitability of region through right mix of business, maintaining IRR at appropriate level, processing fee booking and keeping in a view on healthy portfolio
- Building a standard rating for superior service over that of other banks, thereby attracting new and retaining existing clients.
- Pre sanction visit to borrower/work place/field and preparation of field inspection report and settling customer queries, visits to the new/old clients in regular intervals
- Fulfilling pre/post sanction requirements and submitting the required documents to the Zonal Head and Business Head for
recommendation with his/her views.
- Coordinating with Empanelled CMs, good quality private warehouses/go downs for identification of prospective customers in case of Commodity finance.
- Holding regular meetings/ interactions with the clients so as to understand their requirements and expectations from the Bank.
- Maintaining regular contact with promoters/ key management personnel of the corporate and mid-sized companies.
- Exploring opportunities to build business relationships through external channel partners. Maintaining relevant records of client data so as to have a robust database for customer segmentation, better service and cross selling.
- Regular monitoring of the region portfolio and initiating margin calls, wherever required.
