Position Requirements

Trade Promotion Excellence team provides strategic guidance and builds technology solutions aimed at transformation and improvement of Net Revenue Management (NRM) functions of leading Consumer Goods companies. The range of projects and services encompass but are not limited to:

- Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

- Pricing and Promotion Assessment

- Trade Promotion Optimization

- Master Data Management

- Sales and Volume Planning

- Payment and Financial Accruals Analysis

- Post Event Assessment

- Syndicated Data Analysis

Job description:

- Lead client engagement teams executing Strategy Consulting Revenue Growth projects including Trade Promotions Excellence which support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for business.

- Be responsible for understanding the client's growth vision, business model, resources, strategy and planning and strategy and risks.

- Drive design and implementation of RGM solutions for global CPG clients, including assessing current processes and systems, determining key requirements, designing the future state processes, managing development cycle of the system, and facilitating change management for the client.

- Design and develop technology solutions aimed at improving Trade Promotion processes ranging from sales and volume planning to payments and financial control and post event analysis

- Assess market opportunities and work with the client teams to develop a business case, including capital investments required, viable operating and business model options and cost model.

- Work closely with the technology teams to drive end-to-end implementation of RGM solutions for clients

- Demonstrate detailed understanding of RGM space including processes and operating model by market/geography

- Effectively participate on teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.

- Assist in Strategy Consulting practice building and business development efforts by leveraging internal network and relationships.

Skills:

The candidate should ideally have experience across all of the below outlined areas:

- Experience in consulting projects pertaining to revenue growth management for consumer goods companies

- Experience in analytics and technology projects for consumer goods and retail clients including trade process and system design, program management, with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.

- Knowledge of working in consulting teams in trade promotion excellence or related engagements

- Experience of delivering long-term engagements, especially system implementations from design to testing and deployment in the consumer markets space

- Demonstrate detailed understanding of RGM space including processes and operating model by market/geography

- Familiarity with the Trade Promotions lifecycle from Master Data Management to Post Event Analysis

- Ability to synthesize complex information and generate detailed insights based on primary and secondary research information

- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in programming languages and analytical tools including visualization softwares

Qualifications:

- Position requires 2-6 years experience in RGM Consulting (preferably in trade promotions excellence or related areas)

- MBA is preferred but not required; in lieu of an MBA, equivalent experience in conjunction with an undergraduate degree in engineering, arts and economics, sciences or business will suffice
