Strategic Planning Director - Financial Services - IIM

Our client is one of the leading Global Financial Services firms and is searching for an outstanding Strategic Planning Director to drive their business forward working alongside senior management and various Business Units. The Strategic Director is required to contribute at a senior level to the strategic planning for their India Centre. Specifically, the role is to identify opportunities, help solidify objectives, apply analysis and develop insights for key businesses with the end goal of building a strategic voice within the firm through a higher level of strategic abilities.

Some of the key responsibilities will include :

- Oversight and co-ordination with multiple functions, provide leadership and guidance to various business lines on strategic planning

- Development of the organisation's strategy including planning, organization and direction

- Responsible for the location strategy team and provide oversight to new and ongoing transitions

- Problem solving and managing risks pre-emptively, while using metrics to drive projects forward

- Being able to operate independently, develop and execute new ideas and strategies

To be eligible for this role you will require :

- 18 to 24 years of relevant experience

- A Post graduate management degree from a premier institute (IIM) a definite advantage

- Relevant experience in senior roles in global financial services industry

- Individual must be an organized, process-oriented problem-solver who can multi-task and manage competing interests.

- Excellent communication skills and a track record of success in a similar role

- Knowledge of business strategy development and profitability performance with focus on proactive strategic leadership
