Strategic Manager - eCommerce

What is your primary responsibility?

In this role, you will understand, plan and execute the strategic decisions to build the future of the organization. The strategic plan will be agreed upon at the beginning of the year and you will ensure that the plan is executed to achieve its goals as committed.

What does this role entail?

- Understand and absorb the organisation's business plan

- Closely work with the CEO to build a strategic plan that is aligned with the organization's overall business plan

- Create an efficient roadmap for implementing the strategic plan

- Ensure smooth running of the plan with periodic review

- Ensure the plan achieves its milestones as per the commitment to the board and EXECOM

Additionally

- Help the CEO review all the current business functions regularly and hold the functions accountable for the commitments in the review

- Help the CEO in tasks like running town halls, preparing speeches and prepping for leadership meetings by sourcing and organizing the content

- Additionally, ensure to prioritize and manage the CEO's time between the current business and strategic business by actively managing his calendar

Who are you?

- You are analytical, research-based and are a passionate problem solver.

- You are a quick learner who would have spent 3-5 years, directly working with the leadership team or have exposure in strategic/Management consulting roles.

What will you know already know?

- You can understand management level business issues and analyze the existing business plans

- You will be a sound decision-maker who can manage sensitive circumstances
