Strategic Government Advisory Role - Bank (5-8 yrs)
Hiring for a Renowned Bank,
- Create, maintain relationships with Government departments and organizations and aid in business development/knowledge partnerships.
- Build Knowledge of the Government, its functioning and keep up-to-date / gather intelligence on government projects/programs.
- Create, maintain relationships with important industry chambers & associations and aid in business development/knowledge partnerships.
- Business Analysis, Consulting / Project Management including:
1. Transaction Advisory/bid process advisory projects including preparing bid documents and interacting with officials and selecting vendors.
2. Policy Advisory / White Papers.
3. Sector-specific / state specific knowledge reports.
- Build own knowledge (cross-functional) in focus sectors such as agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, energy & renewable energy & education as needed for engaging with government.
- Data gathering, organizing and synthesizing for preparation of knowledge articles/in-house reports/research on specific themes, sector, state such as above.
- Responsible for increasing business opportunities/penetration in the area of concern and creating business spin off for the bank particularly for Government Banking & Branch Banking.
- Conceptualize initiatives to tap specific business opportunities for the bank in working with the government & to build good will in the Government.
- Engaging with other groups related to business requirements and assisting in solving complex business requirements and provide solutions/alternatives for the above.
- Developing and implementing business critical initiatives & value propositions for strategic customers.
- Developing frameworks for improving business processes and developing new processes.
- Internal / External Communications, database management, reporting.
