Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Finance professional to join our team as the Strategic Finance Head. This role requires a dynamic individual with hands-on experience in financial planning, management accounting, strategy and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong market knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with senior management to drive strategic growth and provide insightful financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Advisor
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships to drive company expansion.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize market positioning and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Ability to manage all group companies and leading them to revenue growth.
- Present potential growth scenarios and outcomes to the management team
2. Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Lead the preparation of compliance reports and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
3. Market Knowledge and Analysis:
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to inform strategic planning.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to assess financial performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
4. Collaboration with Management:
- Work closely with department heads and the executive team to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Provide financial guidance and support to functional leaders across the organization.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Drive Strategies and Develop and execute a comprehensive IPO roadmap for the organisation.
5. Acquisition Strategy:
- Identify and evaluate potential companies for acquisition to support strategic growth.
- Conduct financial due diligence and assess the strategic fit of acquisition targets.
- Lead negotiations and integration efforts post-acquisition.
6. Others
- Oversee the administration of the company's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
- Advice on how to make it more lucrative for the employees and the company.
- Develop strategies to optimize GST compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
- Manage the financial aspects of intellectual property, including valuation and monetization strategies.
Qualifications:
- CA with minimum 12 years of experience in a FMCG/Start up or a growth driven organisation.
- Proven track record of scaling and growing organisations by financial interventions.
- A Go getter who focuses on results and growth
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
