About the role - Operations Manager shall be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations within Store My Goods. Warehousing operations, vendor management, supply chain process automation, customer experience through technology, product and manage the team as well.

- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice operations vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve the performance

- Plan, manage and evaluate operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers

- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities

- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements

- Proven analytical, project management, problem solving and organisational skills

- Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and manage competing priorities

- Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the operations process

- Excellent attention to detail skills with commercial and financial acumen with a full understanding of the impact of failure in terms of business cost, production schedules and processes

- Working knowledge of logistics and operations softwares

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering

- 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations

- Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles

- Strong team player and ability to lead, manage, and provide training for direct reports

- Exceptional organisational and analytical skills
