What the role entails : - Lead the Billing &amp; Collection function - Provide customer service by coordinating with business and Finance teams - Ensure that Billing/Collection Policies and Procedures are implemented uniformly and updated timely. - Ownership of Billing &amp; Collection MIS - Support in putting customer account management in proper shape by formulating processes for smoother operations. - Support in SAP implementation &amp; usage, Tax and statutory compliance - Control and monitor outstanding balances which includes timely cash collections, assessing credit risks and minimize bad debts. Regular follow up with customer's commercial teams - Improve and maintain the monthly overdue for all accounts and regular follow up internal team and clients for outstanding. Experience : Essential : - For CA candidates, min. 4 - 5 years- of total experience - For non-CA candidates, min 6 - 7 years of total experience in Telecom sector - Candidates from Telecom sector preferred Desirable - Relationships with Telecom service providers Functional Requirements Financial : - Ability to understand data to derive trends and actionable insights - Ability to understand and implement basic principles of accounting - Good understanding of end-to-end billing life cycle management - Proficient in in MS excel and SAP knowledge and experience in generating reports from SAP Operational : - Developing and sustaining business relationships with key stakeholders- customers; Good communication skills - Reviewing &amp; monitoring the performance of each account People Orientation : - High productivity and engagement with the teams
