Statutory Auditor - CA - 2015/ 16/ 17 batch for US Audits

We are currently looking for Financial Consultants with Statutory Audit experience for one of the topmost national accounting, tax and advisory services firms in the US. The position is to be based at Mumbai.

Our client is one of the topmost national accounting, tax and advisory services firms in the US who specialize in Audit & Accounting, Taxation and Advisory Services. The Audit services include Audit and Assurances, Regulatory Compliances, Royalty audit and Risk management.

Job Description:

- Develop an understanding of the approach, methodology and tools.

- Work on Private Equity Funds and other related Audits is preferred

- Effectively work on Statutory Audits on US GAAP doing US Audits

- Developing knowledge in complex technical issues and demonstrate good judgement in routine, day to day decision making

- Independently initiate and complete complex portions of engagements and able to identify issues and propose solutions

- Effectively distribute work to staff and review staff work, ensuring high quality and accuracy.

- Effectively prioritize and manage work on engagements.

- Communicate information to keep team updated

- Identify potential services that might be of value for the client to Manager /Partner

- Keep clients current on engagement status.

- Continuously expand own knowledge and skills through participation in industry education events

- Proactively self-assess performance and progress

- Increase staff's technical knowledge through training, provides value add comments and feedback

- Execute components of audit under remote service delivery model in an effective and efficient manner

- Develop and enhance good relationship with U.S. audit teams.

MUST HAVES:

Education/qualification: CA Cleared in 2015/16 / 17

Minimum 3 years of Statutory Audit experience is a must ( Ind-AS / US Gaap both are fine)

- Experience in Auditing of Financial Services clients is preferred

- Good Communication skills

- Experience in Statutory Auditing of Private Equity/ Venture Capital / Mutual Funds/ Hedge Fund / Investment Management/ Financial Services industry client

- Only Statutory Audit experience is relevant. Internal Audit / External audit / Concurrent Audit experience is not preferred for this role.

Salary : 9.0-15.0 LPA

Location : Mumbai
