We have a job opportunity with one of the leading Analytics Solutions company based out in Bangalore.

Job Location - Bangalore

Position - Statistician

Experience - 2 - 5 years

Job Description

1. Responsibilities will be in the areas of providing inputs/delivery support on specific projects or business problems faced by clients, process-setting and research and development of new applications.

2. Project-specific:

- Work directly on projects and provide inputs on data quality, suitability of techniques, application of techniques to the business problem and interpretation of outputs

- Coordinate with analysts and consultants during project delivery to ensure accuracy and meaningfulness of statistical outputs

- Provide guidance to team on applicability of statistical methods to specific issues posed by client

3. Process-setting :

Guide team of analysts and consultants on setting up processes for application of specific statistical methods. Such processes will include the following:

- Converting a business problem to an analytical plan

- Data cleaning and preparation steps for each technique/ application

- Help with running analysis on statistical software such as SAS

- Help with creating quality control mechanisms/ checklists

Qualification:

- 3-5 years of experience in applying statistical techniques in marketing analytics

- Masters degree in Statistics/decision sciences or related discipline from a reputed university, Bachelors degree will also be considered provided other qualifications and skills are appropriate
