Role:

- SSGA seeks a quantitative analyst for its Global Equity Beta Solutions research team.

- This team is responsible for research in passive equity portfolio constructions, ESG, and equity portfolio implementations in Global markets.

Key responsibilities:

- As a member of this team, the candidate will utilize his/her quantitative skills in developing equity portfolio solutions/models.

- She/He should be able to work independently with minimal guidance.

- She/He should have a willingness to code.

- The candidate should have the very good work ethic and willingness to deliver quality work within stipulated timelines.

They will be liable to:

- Independently write model codes in python (to implement models for research)

- Onboard/Explore new data

- Use quantitative/ML skills to develop desirable models

- Build domain knowledge of Quant Investing

The ideal candidate will be:

- Excellent Learner.

- Good at coding, Analytics

Essential Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from a top tier college is a requirement; Computer Science or Information Technology

- Experience in Python, R
