State Street - Investment Strategy Analyst - Outsourced Chief Investment Office
The Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) Team is seeking to hire a research analyst with investment experience in tactical asset allocation and overlay strategy. The individual will collaborate with portfolio managers and clients to tailor the strategies that aligns with client objectives and risk tolerance. This position requires deep understanding of financial markets, risk management and derivatives.
Responsibilities and Expectations :
- Support the portfolio managers in implementing tactical exposure adjustments and hedging overlay strategies.
- Contribute to portfolio construction and rebalancing decisions, leveraging quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Collaborate with the implementation team in computing various portfolio analytics like portfolio KRDs, liability hedge ratios for pension clients.
- Develop and maintain reporting templates, trackers and dashboards to provide insights into portfolio positioning, risk metrics, performance etc.
- Assist in creation of materials for investment meetings and client presentations
- Work with portfolio managers and client service team in addressing ad hoc client queries regarding their portfolios
- Engage in ad hoc projects and multi-asset class research.
- Engage in multi-asset class research and contribute to thought-leadership articles.
- Maintain thorough understanding of markets, economic trends, geopolitical events that could impact client portfolios
Qualifications :
You will require a B.Tech/MBA or similar degree and will have some combination of the following skills/experience :
- 3-5 years of investment experience with comprehensive knowledge of global markets
- Rigorous attention to detail, demonstrate initiative and multi-task
- A practitioner's approach to investment-problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet, and Morningstar Direct preferred
- Excellent quantitative skills are required, in particular, the ability to analyze and evaluate data and present findings
- Prior coding experience in R/Python is desirable
- CFA or pursuing the CFA designation
