State Head - Karnataka

We are looking for 'State Head - Karnataka' with a leading company in education sector with national presence. The company is the Indian partner of one of the world's leading Test Prep companies.

The position holder will be responsible for maximizing value for all stake holders by efficiently managing and expanding the operations of metro location and sub locations as a profit center.

The key accountability will include :

- Business progression planning encompassing, studying market trends, customer feedback, media planning, capacity expansion and operational cost control.

- Ensure implementation of business progression plan in their respective metro location and sub locations in a time bound manner by effective coordination with all stake holders.

- Ensure operational effectiveness by coordinating with service delivery teams and other support functions.

- Ensure higher retention of employees in the respective city and sub locations and ensure employee growth with in the S &M and operations team.

- Manpower budgeting and ensuring manpower availability so as to deliver on the business progression plan as per the agreed timelines.

- Maximizing the value for all stake holders by increasing revenue, maximizing physical and manpower resource utilization and controlling operational costs.

- Build the skill inventory in the organization with in respective city by ensuring timely implementation of all training and development activities.

- Managing business growth and operations for channel / business partner centres in the state.

Desired candidate profile :

- Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in retail sales in a B2C environment. Profiles with education industry background will be given preference.

- Minimum Four years of experience in handling large sales and marketing teams.

- Excellent Communications skills.

- Ability to consolidate and analyze data and formulate strategies to achieve business growth.

- Leadership skills.

- Good command over MS Office specially Excel

- Good Working Knowledge of Business Processes in terms of Retail Sales and B to C interface.

- Willing to travel.

- Ability to deliver under stretched timelines is mandatory.
