Job Description :

Overall purpose of the job:

Managing the underwriting team of the vertical. Assisting in the formulation of the credit policy and risk management of the vertical. Managing the credit cost within the required level of the bank, suggest the systems, processes, and IT requirements, suitable for various products. Business Development of the vertical with effective leadership, Maintain the profitability and health of the portfolio, Achievement of the targets allotted by the management, cross-sell of other products, Ensuring the collection of dues on the due dates etc. Ensuring customer satisfaction and customer service from the team across the vertical

Key Performance Areas :

(a) Strategy :

- Monitor and guide CH- s/ Credit Team and ensure the timely sanction of the credit proposals

- Ensure the portfolio quality to minimize the NPA and credit losses

- Overall coordination of branches under the State/ Region, for ensuring the quality of the portfolio

- Ensuring recruitment, training, retention, and mentoring talents

- Remain updated market development and trend and apprise vertical head to maintain the hygiene in the portfolio.

- Stay updated on the recent changes in policy and regulatory guidelines and ensure the same is reached to all the stakeholders

(b) Achieving Operational Efficiency:

- Timely intervention to ensure the quality of sourcing and minimizing the turnaround time

- Study and analyze the service quality by visiting/interacting branches and customers and recommend remedial measures.

- Follow up with branches on compliance of internal audit matters, monitor

- Coordinate with the collection team on timely repayment of the dues and interest.

- Provide the various reports and update on sales, collection and the quality of the portfolio.
