StashFin - Manager - Fraud Control

- Implementation of fraud control procedures and systems.

- Devising an approach focusing on prevention, detection rather than recovery.

- Minimize fraud losses and maximize recoveries and building healthy portfolio

- Ensure effectiveness in all the processes.

- Liaise and work with law enforcement agencies, professionals and commercial organizations in this field of expertise.

- Develop a rapport with the risk managers of other banks and initiate concerted market action on fraudsters wherever required. Participate in regional task force meetings.

- To impart training to all the agencies and cross functions -across products, across region.

- Managing reports and activities in Turnaround Time as specified.

- Liaison and maintenance of effective communication with Police, Government authorities and external fraud investigators to collate and share intelligence as appropriate, and to ensure that Company is kept abreast of the most up to date information/intelligence on crime.

- To lead investigations into suspicion of fraudulent, criminal and security activities as reported by stakeholders, providing an independent report for management to assist the disciplinary process and represent company in any related police and court proceedings, if any.

- Impart Training to the Team / Vendors.

- Regular interaction & Co-ordination with peers for fraud containment.

- Recommend and follow through on policy changes, wherever required in order to improve the portfolio quality and the quality of application sourcing.

- Constant monitoring of accounts and processes to control the fraud attempts and advice and application of rules to contain the incidences.

- Audit & Process Related: To ensure that the errors are below minimum and the same remains in satisfactory levels.

- Early detection of frauds by various measures, root cause analysis and system correction (wherever feasible)

- To manage the front end of Fraud Risk across all locations

- Ensure fraud risk policy is rolled out across all products and at all locations
