Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance - Manager/Senior Manager - Data Warehousing

- Maintain & enhance organisation-wide standardised data/information platform to store the data which is accessible and usable with minimum training requirement

- Design & implement Star and/or Snowflake data models, Cubes/Tabular Objects with changing needs of the organization

- Design & monitor data flows which cuts through platforms for all business needs. Create robust mechanisms for data influx and outgo for downstream applications

- Manage end to end Data operations to run within defined timelines and SLA's

- Create & enhance data marts from existing DWH to support business needs

- Maintain single customer view

- Develop mechanisms to monitor health of all BIU servers/instances by co-ordinating with DBA teams

- Identify, implement and drive adoption of data management technologies and solutions

- Derive actionable insights from data monitoring and analysis

- Periodically assess the relevance of MIS, Data-Warehouse and Data governance against business requirement and changing technology landscape, propose solutions when appropriate, and implement agreed solutions

- Create and monitor data standardisation projects through data quality tools

- Enhancing & enriching data through data cleansing activities

- Refresh and update Customer data from Partner Banks

Job Specifications :

- Knowledge of Azure DWH Framework

- Worked on HBase, Mongo,Postgre/NoSQL DBs

- Experience in MSBI, MS SQL

- Experience in Indian Insurance Industry

- Experience in visualisation tools like Power BI & Tableau

Education/Experience:

- MBA + B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science / IT

- 7-10 Years of Experience
