Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance - Manager/Deputy Manager - PMO

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direction, control, management and oversight in following areas:

i) Benefits definition, monitoring and realization.

ii) Estimation, planning (WBS), schedule creation & monitoring and dependency management

- Holistic and proper risk/issue/assumption/decision management. Proactively identify risks and issues on programs and projects advising team on the development of risk management and issue management plans

- Ensure that the projects are being managed correctly and performing to expectations

- Monitor program and project baselines to ensure activities are occurring as planned scope, budget and schedule

- Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables

- Develop and manage plans to address program and project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

- Analysis of program and project data to produce management information and identify and deliver continual improvement

- Coordinate and support administrative requirements for the project team

- Participating in project planning activities and progress tracking

- Facilitate meetings to ensure that projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned.

- Highlight possible deviations from plans to the Project or Program Board to enable quality decision making

- Create presentation materials for multiple governance forums such Project / Programme Board Meetings

- Prepare and distribute agenda, Minutes of Meetings and follow up on open actions

- Advance Knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point, MS Project

Work Experience:

Overall experience of 6 - 8 years with 4- 5 years of PMO experience in IT Industry

Certification:

Prince 2/ PMP (Preferred)
