The incumbent will be part of the Projects, Process, Fin Ops, and CSM Audits within the Organisation. The incumbent will be responsible for Creating and Defining the Sops, Implementation, Continuous Process Improvement, Business Process Re engineering, Risk & Compliance and Operations management.

Process Framework :

- Defining the Operations framework, designing the SOPs around it

- Review all existing processes and identifying the gaps

- Streamlining all the processes as per the framework - process roll outs, training, query resolutions, process certifications on new and existing processes

- Processes handled - Different operating Models, Partner tie Ups, Banking, Customer Service & Grievance Management, Policy cancellation & refunds, Banca/Affinity tie ups

- Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders across business functions to ensure that a robust process is introduced within the stipulated timelines

- To create awareness in the business units to ensure that the unit adheres to the laid down guidelines and the policies of the IRDA, so that all the new/changes in the existing processes are approved and documented appropriately

Process Automation :

- Ensuring comprehensiveness of process, zero design failures and providing inputs to make the process more efficient and seamless with emphasis on automation.

- Develop and monitor scorecard and other tools to measure success of process improvement initiatives

- Incumbent will be a lead for Business Process Re engineering will apply process improvement and re engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects across the BU

- Liaise with Projects team to ensure timely implementation of automated processes

Quality & Risk - Compliance :

- Implementation of continuous control monitoring tool for identifying potential risk in process processes and suggesting mitigant for strengthening the process

- Develops and maintains up-to-date knowledge of corporate compliance requirements. Overseeing and ensuring that all the processes are followed as per compliance laid by the organization & regulatory agencies

- Define and Frame guidelines for conducting regular quality checks against SOPs to ensure the adherence

- Finalizing process of quality monitoring, Conducting R&R for CSM operations team.

Audit & Control :

- Conduct audit of Operations internally from time to time to keep control on the processes

- SPOC for handling various audits like Statutory Audit, CAG, Internal Audit, IRDA Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations- effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit's results and document process

- Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

Experience / Background :

- 15+ year of progressive experience in operational excellence, business improvement and performance measurement projects

- Demonstrated track record of re engineering business processes and driving adoption across an organization/department

- Clear understanding of business process streamlining methodologies

- Accredited in Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology


- Has managed functional processes and policies and/or projects


- Experience of implementing continuous improvement processes

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, coaching, verbal and written communication skills, as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

- Ability to manage key stakeholder expectations, concerns, and to identify and mitigate project risk as required, in person and virtually

- Viewed as a trusted advisor with a successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization

- Effective internal consulting skills along with the ability to positively influence others in a desired direction to achieve identified outcomes without direct lines of authority

- Attention to detail and passion for delivering outstanding service

- Ability to make complex things simple to execute

- Ability to coach and influence at all levels within the organization

- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team; self-motivated

- Ability to identify concerns before they become problems, and to propose solutions to the concerns

Education : Bachelor's or Master's Degree
