Analyzing star sports channel performance and providing inputs based on consumer understanding on the following :
1) Business - Developing channel strategy: Understanding core TG, setting Targets,
2) Content - supporting development of content strategy with insights and sport specific inputs.
3) Communication - supporting communication strategy with communication specific inputs.
- Studying trends, markets, and specific TG's of the sport both on STAR Sports and competition.
- Handling commissioned research - qualitative or quantitative, dealing with research agencies
- Analyzing viewership trends and planning actionable inputs across programming and promotion
- Regular report on show health, character strength, awareness levels to aid marketing and programming team
- Quantitative & Qualitative : TAM Analysis ; Competitive Tracking, Positioning Testing & Consumer Connects
MBA with 6-8 yrs of experience in media research with interest in sports ( preferred: Exposure to Channels, Media planning Agency and TAM )
- Experience in Media planning or research function of Television / Broadcasters
- Ability to understand numbers and make informed choices
- Consumer insights and Research methodology knowledge preferable, but not a must
