Star TV - Head - Marketing - Distribution Business - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

CONTEXT:

- The new tariff regime introduces a whole new opportunity to create disproportionate monetization value for STAR India thus strengthening the need to communicate directly to the consumer

- The Head Marketing for Distribution business will build and lead a team of high caliber marketing professionals entrusted to communicate STAR's proposition to the trade and end consumer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Set up customer and consumer marketing vertical within Distribution business

- Design and implement consumer & trade marketing plan for Star India channels

- Drive brand communication (both ATL & BTL) and PR for all brand initiatives in close association with the Network Marketing team

- Responsible for designing and executing geography specific on ground activation plans

- Establish and execute marketing strategies relating to customer acquisition, customer segmentation, market penetration, competitive analysis, customer insights and market research

- Own and drive subscriber growth & increase yield through clutter-breaking consumer marketing campaigns.

- Design, conduct, and analyze consumer research and brand health tracking; partner closely with analytics team to define campaign performance metrics to ensure high level of effectiveness

- Build cutting edge technology and leverage automation to enable deep consumer insights

- Planning and budgetary controls for all trade, consumer & brand marketing initiatives

QUALIFICATION :

- Post graduate degree from Tier I institutes with relevant work experience of 12-15 years in consumer, trade and brand marketing across Consumer Internet, Tech, FMCG, FMCD and Telecom sectors.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

- Deep understanding of the target customer base, consumption trends and research in various geographies

- Strong project management skills, and ability to work in an entrepreunial environment
