Star TV - Digital Ad Sales - IIM/IIT (4-9 yrs)
CONTEXT:
The person is expected to build the digital sales business, drive to achieve the sales target for the respective platforms effectively utilizing the available inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achievement of assigned targets within the specified time frame & yield improvements over last year
- New Business Development
- Key client management - Conceptualization & execution of out-of-the-box sales ideas / deals in conjunction with the Content team
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Achievement of assigned targets
- Up sell and renewal of existing business from customers
QUALIFICATION:
- Preferred Qualification: IIT/Tecnical background + MBA, preferably from Tier I/II institutes
- Total of about 4-9 years of experience in digital sales
- Strong knowledge of digital ecosystem will be an added advantage
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Ability to drive and achieve sales targets
- Leverages relationships & is a capable networker
- Should be both a category & a brand builder
- Introduction of systems for effective negotiations and continuous evaluation of media investments.
- Concise yet inspiring communicator
- Analytical yet creative bend of mind. Ability to construct win-win deals for client/company.
- Understanding of data and analytics

- Ability to deal with dynamic and fast paced changing internal & external environment
