Kick-Starter - Sales


Key Responsibilities :

- Develop the business plan and execute the sales strategy for regions/zone.

- Complete responsibility for P&L of the Zone/City/Cluster assigned.

- Map out and implement Sales and marketing promotion strategy for the designated country, manage sales activities for existing and potential market together with the VP Sales.

- Define, track and improve key metrics of assigned Zone or City . Collate and analyze key daily/weekly/monthly data on various performance parameters and report key findings. Open to travel extensively across India and prepare budgets and approve expenditures.

- Cost-efficient customer acquisition and ensuring a high volume of daily transactions

- Build & manage a strong sales team with a deep understanding of consumer buying, marketing tools, PR and CRM

- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets

- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel & vendors in assigned products

- Collaborate and provide support to other functional teams to achieve company objectives

- Generate new product ideas, enhancements to the existing product and collate requests from both internal and external requester

- Undertake market research and be an expert with respect to the competition

- Analyze internal systems and recommend enhancements to improve productivity

- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute online marketing strategies for lead generation and sales

- Get a through understanding of the platform, reach out to new clients and target audience to pitch the platform. Organize and deliver successful Product Demos, walk through and and deliver on the sales targets

- Lead and motivate, empower the sales team through open communication, performance review, prompt and appropriate feedback, coaching and effective training for subordinates.

Cooperate with other functions to ensure the processes consistently improve customer experience and satisfaction.

Desired Candidate traits :

- Open to travel extensively.

- Experience in managing a large sales team

- Strong analytical abilities & good interpersonal skills

- Experience in driving P&L for a Business Unit

- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams

- MBA along with an engineering degree is preferred.
