Stanza Living - Lead - Procurement & Supply Chain Management (7-15 yrs)

The Procurement & SCM Lead will work closely with and support the Head of Transformation, Strategic Partnerships to maximize the value received from suppliers and vendors. This position will oversee the administration of contracts in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements, as well as third-party vendor monitoring and oversight. He / She will support the and assist in the planning of company standards that integrate process, technology, metrics, and quality checks to ensure consistent and compliant contracting practices.

- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost effective

- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors

- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms

- Evaluate product specifications requirements

- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to develop innovative design changes

- Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing

- Reviewing existing contract with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.

- Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company

- Analyse market trends and assess supply base

- Identify cash flow opportunities through reduced costs, payment terms, and efficiencies

- Building and maintaining long term relationships with vendors and suppliers

- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services

- Performing rick assessments on potential contracts and agreements

- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long term saving on procurement costs

- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory and the supply of goods

- Provide recommendations to Head of Transformation and present reports to Senior Leadership

- Preparing procurement reports and presenting to the founders.

- Identify supply chain efficiencies through our Supplier Value Creation platform

- Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met

- Oversee product storage, handling and distribution

- Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analysing performance

- Manage and motivate a team.

Must Have :

- Strategic & conceptual thinking

- Capable of independently leading multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

- Collaborative mentality & effective communicator

- Extensive experience working in the procurement department in a related field

- Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions

- Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
