Strategy  - Drive and co-ordinate the strategy, priorities, sustainable growth and market synergies of the ME Segment in the region   - Drive our - One Bank mission - building and deploying strong links & synergies with client segments, product groups and functions  Business :   - Deliver Revenue, NTB & Asset & liability book growth targets and key operating metrics (balance sheet growth, client acquisition, client satisfaction, product holdings, RM attrition etc)  - Co ordinate with their teams for delivery of revenue and other budgets   - Ensure team maintains discipline on timely updation of account plans, call reports, pipeline management  - Maintain and execute operating rhythm with all stake holders to ensure effective business momentum   - Ensure maximization of portfolio RORWA and NIL debt provision   Processes :   - Continuously improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes as they relate to Medium Enterprises India within the job holder's remit  - Ensure effective management of operational risks within Medium Enterprises and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulation  People and Talent :   - Agree appointments for key roles in conjunction with the Business Head, Medium Enterprises  - Develop and embed a high performance culture with specific focus on RM capability, effectiveness and productivity   - Develop talent to ensure a high quality succession pipeline at all levels and sponsor ongoing development activities that focus on the identified high performing and high potential individuals within Medium Enterprises  - Lead and manage a team through effective leadership, coaching and engagement  Risk Management :   - Manage the risk profile of the Medium Enterprises segment in India, including credit, operational and reputational risk, to Group Standards  - Ensure compliance to Group CDD standards  - Understand the risk and control environment in their area of responsibility and drive rectification as required  - Ensure effective processes are in place to identify, manage, monitor and report risk  Governance :   - Provide oversight across Medium Enterprises India, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws, other applicable laws (e.g., laws governing securities activities, company law) and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines  - Embed the Group's values and code of conduct in the region to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture  - Engage with all audit report findings across Medium Enterprises India and ensure feedback is acted upon  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:   - University Graduate, preferably MBA  - Demonstrable and relevant experience in the banking industry commensurate with this remit and level of responsibility, including several years in General Management of large businesses  - Several years of successful business practice in client relationship management  - Proven capabilities in growing businesses and developing franchise  - Proven risk management capabilities  - Firm in all business guidelines and compliance issues  - Knowledge and experience in financial planning for Commercial Banking customers  - Good understanding of relevant banking products and services  - Strong people management skills  - In-depth understanding of key business drivers in dedicated geographical markets with sound understanding of the relevant legal, political and economic situation/framework  - Profound understanding of cultural, ethnic and religious market conditions across the region  - Outstanding communication and presentation skills  - Business English + preferably at least one further language  - Endurance, personal perseverance, strong self motivation, entrepreneurial, team player  - Convincing social skills with in-depth network into relevant target markets
