Job Purpose : 

To provide finance business partnership for Retail Products & Segments

Job Role: 

Job role involves providing finance business partnership for Retail Products business & Retail Segment. The role requires close engagement with the Retail business, Product heads & Segments to help measure, evaluate and improve product performance.

Key responsibilities: 

Specific responsibilities of the Job holder will include the following: 

- Facilitate to create packs for monthly financial review.

- Help identifying the gaps and enabling business with key analytics to help better profitability.

- Create senior management decks to support different one-off reviews.

- Provide dedicated finance support to cover all key Retail Products.

- Provide the business with options, recommendations and clear financial consequences based on robust analysis and transparent decision making framework.

- Role requires very strong modelling skills to be able to forecast future performance taking into account variable unique to various retail products as well as broader elements such as funding, PSL and liquidity considerations.

- Owning the process to build monthly forecast files along with the key drivers

- Owning the budgeting submission process across Retail Products and Segments.

- Create automated process to track all key KPI 's for the business supported and track the performance.

- Continuously provide a balanced view of business performance against agreed external & internal benchmarks to drive optimal decisions, superior performance

- Partners the business in developing a deep understanding of the key drivers and to maintain an optimal balance sheet structure which balances capital efficiency, liquidity, risk and funding costs

- Governance, Compliance & Controls : Ensure group and regulatory governance standards are understood and underpinned by robust processes within the Finance function with appropriate self assessment and independent controls

- Fully accountable to ensure accurate and appropriate accounting with respect to all Retail product and be equipped to provide suitable accounting advice to business team on specific transactions.

- Ensure costs & investments are aligned to business strategy, deliver targeted returns and that a culture of continuous productivity improvement is embedded in business processes.

- Provides an efficient budgeting, forecasting & reporting platform which delivers accurate business information in the shortest cycle time and at lowest cost, to release capacity for value creation activities

- Leverage and govern a team of offshore finance resources to deliver the required support to the business finance team
