Staff Data Analyst - Semiconductors/Electronics Firm

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role ?)

- Understand and ramp up on any domain quickly

- Identify datasets that are relevant for the domain

- Fetch the datasets from multiple (internal/external, paid/open) sources and keep them updated

- Cleanse the incoming data for various inconsistencies

- Load the datasets to analytics/warehouse DB

- Draw relationship between datasets

- Extract insights that are relevant to the business

- Develop reports and analysis that helps the business make decisions on an ongoing manner

- Engineer the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for domain and ways to calculate

- Develop dashboards and BI tools around the KPIs for continuous monitoring (using appropriate visualizations)

- Training end users on new reports and dashboards.

- Expose the datasets for LOB (line of business) applications in API format

Qualifications: Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience

Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.

- 4+ years- Work experience as a data analyst or in related field.

- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand the domain and relevant decisions

- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and find correlations/insights in them.

- Ability to code scripts which can fetch, clean, process and analyze the data and the datasets (Python + R)

- High-level written and verbal communication skills.

- Good knowledge and experience with Agile, Clean Code, TDD methodologies

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies, IOT, Distributed Systems, Microservices

- Familiarity with working in Internet of Things / Hardware integration

- Familiarity with BI tools like tableau, power bi, Quicksight etc

- Familiarity with analytical solutions like Jupyter with R or Python

- Ability to Analyze data through code

- Ability to build mathematical simulations (numeric)
