About our Client - Our client is a niche bank dedicated to servicing specific product trade and manufacturing. With a large focus on corporate lending for borrowers with whom a long standing relationship can be established as per the legal norms. They are looking for an experienced Finance Professional to head the Finance & Risk function based in Mumbai.

Job Description - Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:

- Asset Liability Management and Market & Liquidity Risk

- Treasury Back Office and Middle Office

- Regulatory and Statutory compliance (RBI, FEMA, Companies Act)

- Accounting and Tax Compliance

- Operational Risk Management and Business Continuity Management

- Together with the CEO the SVP Finance & Risk Management will be part of the Branch Management and ensure a smooth functioning of the Branch. Depending on past experience, the SVP Finance & Risk Management may have credit authority and will be a member of the local credit committee at Mumbai to decide on submitted credit applications.

The Successful Candidate -

- You are a CA with 15-20 years of post qualification experience having worked in a variety of banking operations of which 5 to 10 years in a senior managerial position with finance and/or risk responsibilities within a bank or NBFC.

- You should have an extensive background in the financial area including financial and regulatory reporting and asset-liability management with good understanding of accounting, taxation and audit.

- Individuals with knowledge of guidelines and circulars issued by regulatory bodies in the domain of bank risk and financial management would be preferred.

- To be successful in this role you should have a business mindset and ownership attitude.

- Confidence and assertiveness with strong influencing skills and excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required.
