ER - Capability Building

Identify the training needs of all shop floor employees for manufacturing quality products & help develop and deploy the content seamlessly across all units.

- Final validation of the skill and capability training needs across the company.

- Achieving standardization of training practices across locations thru the Corporate BU Training leads.

- Ensuring standard training content across plants.

- Identify/Recommend appropriate Training methodology/techniques/tools for improving the Training system.

Develop And Certify The Skill Training Infrastructure And Trainers Across Locations:

- Advising and monitoring the development of the Training infrastructure across plants. Assess and Certify the infrastructure to conduct Skill training.

- Recommending the optimum Trainer numbers to ensure skill and capability development at the plants.

- Conducting the Trainer selection process across the plants through the BU Capability leads.

- Develop the competencies of the training leads and teams across the plants by training inputs, job rotations.

Support Training Implementation:

- Give inputs for long term Training plan in consultation with the units and by looking at changing technlogy,new processes, skilled people requirement to achieve company goals.

- Monitor Training performance as per the annual plan both of quality and coverage parameters.

Promote company wide QCC & Skill competitions to build competitive spirit & enhance employee morale

- Make an event calendar for QCC and Skill competitions

- Drive the events through the Corporate BU Training leads.

Career Progression Of Team Members:

- Designing and developing career progression policy/schemes in consultation with Location ER heads, Capability leads and Manufacturing head while taking into consideration company manpower needs and best practices.

- Monitor and review implementation of the schemes at the locations and take corrective actions wherever required.

- Continuously improve the schemes to keep them relevant to business requirements.
