This position will play an important role in the continued development of the Finance organization within Exponential and assist with the next phase of profitable growth for the company as it prepares to grow internationally. This is a critical position within the Finance organization, reporting to the Director Finance in India with significant interaction with all levels of personnel at Exponential.

- The successful candidate will have strong, hands-on Accounting, Direct & Indirect Taxation related experience, working in high-growth environments and have the ability to work autonomously and pro-actively.

Responsibilities:

- Sr. Finance Manager International will play an integral role in monthly financial reporting and tax Compliances ensuring proper accounting and reporting while developing and documenting internal controls and processes to enable Tribal Fusion to meet operational, reporting and compliance requirements.

- In addition, the position will be a key resource supporting the Director Finance on special projects, the external and internal audit.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage team size of 10 International Accounting Personnel

- Manage and support generation of accurate accounting records and account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts for International Locations

- Consolidate inter-company accounts for multiple International locations.

- Review and approve payroll at month end for various international locations

- Manage Statutory Compliances relevant to International locations of the Company to ensure timely filings. Should have sound knowledge of direct and indirect taxes namely VAT, FBT, WHT etc. Being primary point of contact for the international consultants

- Improve processes to better employ human capital and achieve efficiencies.

- Assist Director Finance in external and internal audit of Exponential's financial statements to ensure accurate reporting.

- Report internal and external financial activities to ensure accurate and timely information is available to Senior Management for decision-making.

- Implement and document internal controls, processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information

- Any other task as may be assigned by Reporting Manager/Management.

Qualifications:

- CA firm with 7-8 years of post qualification experience in accounting and related field. Previous experience of managing midsize team must.

- Ideal candidate will have high-tech industry experience in a US Multinational Company preferably in outsourced company, online media, advertising, Internet ecommerce or software.

- Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards with exposure to International Computerized Accounting environment.

- Previous general ledger and monthly close experience required, including the ability to identify and record transactions, reconcile accounts and ensure appropriate accounting.

- Previous intercompany accounts consolidation experience a must.

- Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment with multiple and changing priorities while establishing and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

- Expert proficiency with Excel and hands-on experience preferably with Great Plains or any other SAP based software.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to succeed in collaborative, team-based organization, with strong relationship building skills while working autonomously and pro-actively.
