Location: Mumbai and Chandigarh.
Job Description – Sr Manager – (Business HR Role)
- This role will lead and direct the HR team of the VFXand Animation divisions to enable them to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business/location.
- Thisrole will support all the people management functions - the broad areas would include: HR operations and staff relations, payroll, compensation and benefits, communications and performance management.
HR Manager - Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver comprehensive HR services to the business
- Employee Relations- managing absenteeism and leave, grievance handling, employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement; Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge for evidencing appropriate decision making skills
- Execution/Implementation of the PMS - adherence to PMS processes and timelines; managing issues arising due to PMS
- Training - Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement; monitoring the PIP process
- Recruitment – sourcing and selection of talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns
- Policy & Procedures – Implementation and adherence of new HR policies, procedures and processes; Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with regional employment laws; Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies.
- Managing priorities between casework and projects, if any
HR Manager – Skills required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member
- Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
- Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the team
- Ability to advise/guide line managers on all aspects of people management and development.
- Strong understanding and experience of central and state employment laws and their compliance
