Sr Manager - Credit Research (7-12 yrs)

Position: Senior Manager-Credit Research

Experience required:

- 7-12 years of experience in credit risk assessment in a leading research firm or KPO.

Description of Job Responsibilities

- Preparing detailed credit risk assessment reports in collaboration with client Analysts.

- Credit risk assessment skills and a strong understanding of corporate finance and credit research.

- Financial analysis of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow Statement, Notes to Financial Accounts and evaluation of financial ratios

- Prepare Financial Spreads, Market Data, Peer Analysis

- On-going Monitoring & Surveillance of assigned industry/portfolio, including rating changes, financial/industry development, news events etc.

- Develop Industry / Country expertise as relevant to assigned portfolio

Required Skills

- Candidate must possess be a Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Business Administration (Finance) or CFA from a recognized institute.

- At least 7-12 years of rich experience and domain knowledge in the areas of credit appraisal/ at KPO's, Investment Banks, hedge funds, research houses and commercial lending organizations.

- Experience in team handling is a must

- Should have understanding of research databases (Factiva, Capital IQ, Bloomberg) with good knowledge in the field of economics and finance

- Proficient in using financial models (excel skills).

- Strong written and verbal communication skills (must be fluent in English)

- Strong analytical, logic building and problem solving skills (basis for any credit analysis piece of work)

- Candidates with experience in credit research and credit risk will be preferred.
