Senior Manager - Campaign Management (Unica)

Leading US based Financial Services firm is hiring “Senior Manager- Campaign Management (Unica)”

Responsibilities

Campaign Execution:

- To develop and execute campaign design for retail direct marketing campaigns.

- Work closely with Marketing strategy and communication teams to structure and execute the sequence of events leading to a successful campaign launch:

- communicate list specifications in appropriate technical language,

- negotiate list selection schedules,

- specify output formats,

- define, monitor and implement additional non-standard data processing steps; and

- oversee the delivery of extracts (DM, Email, Statement Messaging, Interactive messaging, Live Channel) to channel.

- Coding target populations and output using the campaign management tool - UNICA

- Convert test strategies into list requirements for programming using the internal databases. Perform formal review of requirements with programmers. QC sql code and deliver extracts to channel. Oversee adhoc campaign development.

- Act as subject matter expert on marketing database and informational environment.

Quality Control

- Assist with quality control steps throughout campaign development and review “Live Samples” for communications. Ensure a 0% error rate across all aspects of campaign execution. In addition, all communications delivered to our Customers will be reviewed extensively to ensure the audience received the correct message and for accuracy of name placement, message contact and personalization.

Customer First

- Research and resolve Customer issues that arise as a result of PWI Direct Marketing program. They will log all Do Not Mail, Deceased and Return Mail requests. Take note of Return Mail and escalate noticeable issues

Personal Development

- Stay abreast of industry trends and learn new techniques in database marketing. Develop new skills to further contribute to CKSI goals. Participate in group projects and process improvement efforts.

Skills/Knowledge

- Preferably 6-12 years of relevant experience

- Strong communication and inter-personal skills

- Quality focus and knowledge of quality control techniques

- Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills

- Strong documenting and formatting skills required

- The ability to think logically – (e.g., understand the implications of nested parenthesis in boolean expressions) and build complex lists (understand data structures, data processing concepts, multi level de-duplications, and multiple databases) while keeping in mind business and marketing strategies.

- Experience in financial services industry preferred

- Experience with Campaign management platforms required (experience with Unica Campaign/Interact preferred)

- Strong SQL skills including understanding of:

- Nested queries

- Outer / Inner joins

- Advanced SQL functions

- Strong MS Office skills preferable (Excel, PowerPoint, VBA)
