LOOKING FOR SR. DIRECTOR - INSURANCE (PROVIDER) - CONSULTING .

Job description –

- Experience – should have 10+ years of experience in P&C (non-life) insurance. Can be an MBA from the industry with a little bit of consulting exp’. If working in either of the big 5 Consulting firms in insurance that, would be an added bonus

- Domain Experience: Must have hands on exposure to Insurance across different insurance functions –

- Sales and Distribution

- NB and underwriting

- Policy servicing

- Claims

- Reinsurance

- Accounting – if worked on SAP, etc. will be an added advantage

- Broking

- MIS, reporting, compliance etc.

- Skills

- Consulting skills including BPR, fit-gap analysis, transformation and advisory services

- Should have the ability to define the problem and then come to the solution roadmap

- Ability to understand both IT and business and act as a bridge between the two for doing effective consulting around strategy and putting together the IT roadmap

- Preferable employers

- BIG 4 or an insurance company in their strategy or consulting group

- Qualifications –Graduate / Post-graduate in engineering or any commerce, statistics, etc

- Post-graduation – MBA/PGDBA in finance or systems preferable - CA/ICWA with insurance experience could be lower priority options

- Professional qualification/s in the Insurance domain will be preferred – FIII/LOMA/INS/ACII/CPCU, etc. and related insurance industry certifications for Australia

- Additional qualification/s or certifications in ‘Systems’ will also be preferred e.g. Rational certification of IBM, IIBA certification
