Sr Consultant - Global Client Service (For a Leading Risk Consulting Firm)
Job purpose
- Business development, successful management of existing clients and identification of new clients/opportunities with the goal of assisting the Global Client Services (GCS) team to aggressively grow Company's market share within the South Asia region.
- You will be specifically responsible for the development and deepening of relationships with corporate law firms and in-house legal counsels at multinational clients with investment interests in South Asia.
- You will also be given the opportunity to develop new opportunities to assist clients in finding solutions to complex business challenges, including internal fraud and corruption.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Actively seek new business opportunities within Company’s South Asia area of responsibility, with a particular focus on the legal (in-house and external) sector.
- Become conversant with Company’s key service lines including political, integrity and security risk consulting, business intelligence and crisis management.
- Successfully “farm” existing clients to maximise revenue generation and project opportunities.
- Successfully “mine” multiple points of entry into larger clients to position Company’s within C-Suite decision-makers.
- Implement account management plans for existing clients to ensure structured growth of services provided to, and revenue generated from, clients.
- Maintain an active role within Company’s Key Account Management and Account Management teams.
- Conduct and maintain active intelligence gathering on clients’ operations to ensure opportunistic and informed business development operations can be completed as appropriate on event-driven matters.
- Conduct continuous “education” of clients on Company’s services, expertise and reach.
- Conduct frequent and planned meetings with clients within area of responsibility. These meetings/ communications will be planned, structured and auditable. File notes and intelligence reports will be generated from all meetings for internal distribution.
- Effective use the internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Meet individual business development and billable goals.
- Actively participate within South Asian marketing and networking events.
- Oversee the preparation, quality assurance and client relevance of workshops, proposals, reports and multi-jurisdictional projects.
- Complete other duties as requested by GCS management.
Language requirements
- Fluent English
- Skills in foreign languages would be an advantage but are not a pre-requisite.
