Sr Category Product Manager - eCommerce (6-10 yrs)

Looking for a dynamic, customer focused, data driven, results oriented, people and business leader to grow one of the categories on Junglee.com. The Sr. Category Product Manager, has the end-to-end P&L responsibility for his/her categories and will be in charge of defining long-term strategic plans, driving day-to-day operational improvement, building and growing strategic relationships with sellers and external partners, and building a high performing team.

The Sr. Category Product Manager must be passionate and obsessed about delivering a differentiated, world-class experience for customers using Junglee.com in his/her categories.

Roles & Responsibilities Include

He/she will be the strongest internal voice of our customers forcing the team to innovate and continuously raise the bar on the experience Junglee.com offers.

He/she will spend disproportionate focus in understanding needs, pain points, behaviors and preferences of our clothing and lifestyle customers, and inventing new delightful experiences on their behalf.

To stay connected with customers, the Sr. Category Product Manager will dive deep and analyze customer behavior data, diligently read daily customer feedback, conduct focus groups, online surveys, in-person interviews, external benchmarking and other forms of secondary research.

He/She will establish necessary mechanisms to listen to sellers- (Sellers are the other customer group which Junglee.com serves) need and seek to continuously improve the value Junglee.com provides to its seller base.

The Sr. Category Product Manager may lead his own direct team, and also lead a large cross-functional team spanning multiple functions (such as marketing, sales, product management, user experience and design, technology, operations, finance, legal).

He/she will work with these teams on diverse initiatives ranging from website feature improvements, driving adoption of seller services, selection acquisition planning, channel mix planning, catalog quality improvement, seller performance management, and more.

He/she will be responsible for evangelizing the strategic vision across these teams, defining shared goals, enabling mechanisms to drive cross-functional initiatives, and delivering strong and consistent results.

He/She will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance and growth of their categories on a weekly and monthly basis with all stakeholders.

He/she will also review growth plans, progress and any changes in strategic direction with senior leadership at a regular interval.

The Sr. Category Product Manager is the mini-CEO of his / her categories. Successful candidates in this role must have relentless customer obsession, data driven decision making, excellent business judgment, the ability to plan and prioritize, ability to inspire and lead cross-functional initiatives and teams, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong first principles (common sense).

Basic Qualifications

BS/BTech/BE required

6+ years of experience

Proficient in SQL, Excel and Access, or similar database

Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills

Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects with cross-functional teams

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation

Preferred Qualifications

Top tier MBA preferred( ideal candidate will have NIFT+MBA experience)

Experience in Fashion and lifestyle space preferred

Experience in Online consumer products industries preferred
