Sportido - CoFounder & Business Head - IIM/ISB/XLRI

What we do :

Sportido is a one-of-a-kind Sports discovery app that helps you find people and places to play 700+ sports around you. Our mission is to increase participation in Sports and Fitness activities by increasing accessibility and availability. We plan to grow the industry by 10 times in the next 5 years.

How we are placed :

Founded by a serial tech-entrepreneur in 2016, we are an 8-member team across product, tech, marketing and business development. We have rapidly growing base of 15k+ users on our iOS and Android apps. We are overshooting our business plan numbers for user-onboarding and engagement and are now getting into monetization. We are looking for a Co-founder & Head of Business for :

1. Roles and Responsibilities :

a. To be accountable for the overall sales of the company

b. To break down the strategic business goals into product, marketing and sales and targets

c. To research, analyse trends and identify opportunities for revenue

d. To be responsible for on-boarding and to manage relationships with partners and service providers across categories like sports complexes, academies and gyms etc.

e. To hold events and on-ground activations

f. To scout for strategic tie-ups and sponsorships at a national and international level

g. To build and nurture a team of passionate go-getters

2. Traits and Personality :

a. You are passionate and a self-starter who likes to start and end each day with purpose and enthusiasm

b. You are highly organized and have the ability break down goals into tasks and execute up to fruition

c. You are amiable, charismatic and have good leadership and interpersonal skills

d. You have a unique blend of drive, imagination and risk-taking-ability to do something that's never been done before

e. You whole-heartedly believe in Sportido's mission

3. Your Profile :

a. You have a MBA degree (or equivalent) from a TIER 1 institute like IIM, ISB, XLRI etc.

b. You have at least 3 years of exposure into managing Marketing, Sales and Business Development at a Tech-Product company

c. You have strong Project Management and Reporting skills

d. You have helped or have exposure in raising funds for a start-up before

4. Compensation :

a. You will be given Co-founder equity (% will depend on your profile)

b. Salary will be provided after we raise a round of funding.
