Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance & Filing:

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance including preparation and timely filing of returns such as GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual filings.

Indirect Tax Advisory:

- Offer expert advice on GST and other indirect taxes, ensuring clients are aligned with current tax laws and best practices.

Audit & Assessment Support:

- Support internal and external GST audits, handle assessments and ensure accurate tax reporting and documentation.

GST Litigation Management:

- Prepare and manage documentation for GST litigations; represent the company in disputes before GST authorities, tribunals, and courts.

Tax Planning & Optimization:

- Identify tax-saving opportunities, optimize input tax credits, and reduce indirect tax liabilities through strategic planning.

- Stakeholder Coordination & Training

- Liaise with clients, consultants, and tax departments; conduct internal sessions to update stakeholders on regulatory changes.

Key Requirements:

3-6 years of post-qualification experience in:

- GST Compliance & Filing

- Indirect Taxation

- GST Litigation and Dispute Management

- Strong understanding of the Indian tax ecosystem and recent GST developments

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience in handling audits and coordinating with government authorities

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA / CMA / LLB or relevant finance/taxation degree

- Prior experience in a CA firm, consulting, or shared services environment will be a plus
