Spinnaker - Data Science Instructor (3-15 yrs)
Responsibilities
Currently, we are looking for a part-time, weekend-only Data Science Instructor who will be responsible to:
1. Conduct training sessions.
2. Create a course outline for each lecture.
3. Structure projects and assignments to assess participants- progress.
4. Create a lesson plan and submit it before the commencement of sessions.
5. Must keep themselves updated and bring to sessions real-life case studies to be discussed and practiced upon.
Requirements
1. Programming experience in statistical tools/languages - Python, having 3+ years of experience.
2. Post Graduates, Doctorates, Data Science professionals are preferred.
3. Key Areas of Expertise: Python, Mathematical and Statistical Libraries in Python (NumPy, SciPy, NLTK, Pandas etc.), Data Wrangling, Data Mining, SQL, Machine Learning, Time Series Analysis.
4. Minimum 4 months commitment required.
5. Must have excellent communication skills; must be proficient in English.
6. Ability to translate knowledge into training (class of 25- 35 students).
Engagement Type
1. Proficient Python trainer on a weekend engagement basis.
2. Four-month contract, renewable based on performance
