SpiderLogic - Senior Tax Accountant - US Taxation (5-9 yrs)
How You'll Spend Your Time
- Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns
- Review mid-level complexity individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns prepared by tax staff for accuracy;
- Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters;
- Identify tax planning opportunities;
- Handle and resolve tax controversies;
- Provide supervision, training and support to the engagement staff and promote open communication to the engagement partner and manager.
The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:
- Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification hands-on experience with U.S. accounting firm;
- Working towards Chartered Accountancy is preferred;
- Experience and knowledge of U.S. Tax Code is required;
- Strong command of the English Language, both written and verbal communication;
- Strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic;
- Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations; and
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate as a team with the Domestic (US) engagement teams.
