Specification Manager - Tunneling/Industrial Flooring & Elevator Segment (3-9 yrs)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Main focus and priority on internal clients (other entities within group) include the clients / companies within CRH and clients from other countries.

- Develop and maintain design tools and procedures to assist the technical department in the day to day designs.

- Assist with the research and development as well as product compliance of existing and new product groups, including the development of calculation models and technical literature.

- Assist with the preparation of plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications and cost estimates.

- Provide guidance to the junior members of the technical department when needed.

- Assists with technical presentations to customers.

- Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.

- Ensure compliance with all personal obligations under Health and Safety legislation and to adhere to Company H&S policies and procedures, whilst working and striving to improve the internal Safety Audit.

- It is not possible to enumerate all duties, but your scope covers all technical and engineering related responsibilities.

- Responsible for specification and engineering development for new application fields / to expand tunneling, Industrial flooring & elevator segment, steel structure applications
