Specialist - Underwriting Rules Writing - IT System - Reinsurance (7-15 yrs)
We are hiring for an Underwriting Rules Specialist for a leading Re Insurance Firm.
Job Location is Bangalore.
Responsibilities:
- Your role will involve design, specification, development, testing and production of automated underwriting rules,
- Producing clear specification documents, implementing Automated UW Rules, building and executing unit and scenario tests.
- You will identify, analyse and interpret key information relevant to underwriting of life and health products to build optimal standard practice Automated Underwriting Rules.
- Working to tight time lines and within defined processes. The ability to analyse data and underwriting outcomes to improve rule performance will compliment your core responsibilities.
Skills/Experience Preferred:
- Direct insurance or reinsurance (Life and Health) experience of 5+ years. Experience working with automated underwriting systems, automated UW rule writing and testing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Business Analysis tools or Process Engineering a plus.
