Technical Sales Specialist
We are seeking proven sales performers to help us grow our loyal customer base for our Mid-Market Business segment in India and abroad .
Responsibilities include generating new business in new accounts and also expanding the footprint inside existing customers, as well as playing a key role as you drive strategic CRM initiatives for companies across the Indian Market .
This is a role for someone who can be a combination salesperson and evangelist to get our penetration into the sector growing even more.
On top of your own business development, we provide a range of support functions to help create and drive opportunities with internal teams, so it is not just you against the world.
Responsibilities :
- Developing and managing relationships within our Midmarket/Enterprise Business segment focusing on customers Pan India and across the Globe.
- Managing complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our enterprise suite of applications.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in CRM, while creating satisfied and reference-able customers.
- Demonstrating our product and creating a differentiated value proposition
- Strong technical expertise and familiarity with trends in the Information technology domain are a must.
- It would be ideal to have someone with technology consulting experience
Requirements :
- Experience in IT Products/Services sales, Solution sales and partner management with accomplishments all through his/her career
- Experience in selling enterprise SaaS products is an added advantage
- 5 - 8 years of experience carrying quota and closing deals in software (business applications preferred) or technology sales.
- Generating new business leads through cold-calling, networking, business associations, etc.
- Understanding customers business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
- Preparing techno-commercial proposals, presentations and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the software/services, to influence credibly and effectively to all levels of the organization
- Negotiating effectively the terms of commercial agreement and closing sales
- Creating awareness of products/services, conducting training for clients and partners
- Maintaining and expanding customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key partners and customers; identifying new partner and customer opportunities
- Managing relationship with existing customers and cross-selling / up-selling products and services
- Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature
- Meeting sales targets and contributing to team targets
- Developing sales strategies to improve market share
- Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems and peripherals
- Maintaining in-depth understanding of competition's offerings, strategies, and plan
- Collaborating with teams for pre-sales, deployment and post-sales support
