Specialist - Taxation - BFSI - CA (6-9 yrs)
The position would report to the CFO & be responsible for:
- Heading the taxation function of the company & managing a team of 6 tax specialists
- Overseeing the filing & payment of quarterly & annual tax returns
- Co-ordinating with auditors in GST audits, statutory audits & tax audits
- Staying up-to-date on current tax practices & changes in tax laws
- Ensuring statutory tax compliance & handling litigation matters with tax authorities
- Advising the CFO in tax-related matters
The successful candidate would:
- Be a qualified CA having at least 6-8 years of post-qualification experience & at least 4 years in a taxation role
- Be hands-on with DT, IDT & GST
- Have experience in implementing taxation systems & yearly regulatory changes
- Be based in Chennai or be willing to relocate to Chennai
