Role: Publication Support Specialist

- Quality assurance (QA): QA along the publication journey, including journal selection, technical critique of the manuscript, scientific writing, and formatting for journal submission to ensure that they meet the standards of international publications.

- Communication: Reviewing the work of our subject area experts and providing them with timely feedback for continuous quality improvement.

Team Coordination: Communicating with the internal team members to ensure smooth work delivery and team satisfaction.

Client Management: Communicating with the client to ensure that their expectations and preferences are being met. Performing root cause analysis on client complaints to identify and implement sustainable solutions.

Day to Day Responsibilities :

Ensure timely delivery of error-free, high-quality medical documents (manuscripts, posters, abstracts, presentations, etc.) that meet international standards of written English by:

- Correcting errors in grammar, style, and syntax

- Ensuring accuracy of the data and content presented

- Identifying and fixing flaws in logic and flow

- Following style guides/templates as applicable (e.g., Journal specific requirements)

Qualifications :

- MBBS/MD/PhD/MSc (Research or Life Sciences) with good understanding of clinical research and medical communications

- High level of attention to detail and superior English-language skills

- Basic knowledge of biostatistics

- Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.

- Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines in a high-pressure environment

- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Experience :

- Minimum 8 years of experience in editorial processes in a medical communications agency

- Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS) certification
