Specialist - Learning & Organizational Development - Real Estate/Retail (2-6 yrs)

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources department. Learning and Organizational Development specialist plans, develops, implements, and administers development and training programs for company employees. The manager also acts as liaison and advisor to the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identifying the current and future skills requirements of an organisation, and creates flexible learning interventions (through digital and other means) to meet the diverse needs of the workforce

- Directs the Training Need assessment and initiatives for staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee job performance and overall company performance

- Designs and develops training programs for management and employees

- Develops learning plans, learning activities, materials, and instructor guides

- Trains and facilitates training on leadership and soft skills

- Reviews effectiveness of training courses, objectives, and accomplishments

- Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters

- Design and facilitate interventions which may include strategic planning & corporate retreats, vision mission values programs, team & leadership development and employee engagements

- Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans

- Gather benchmark data about jobs, compensation and benefits

- Map out salary ranges for our open positions

- Calculate retention, turnover and internal mobility rates

- Report on key recruiting metrics like time to fill and hiring costs

- Assist hiring managers in designing hiring and training plans

- Analyze employees' answers to internal surveys (like job satisfaction surveys)

- Identify top reasons why candidates and employees choose to work with our company and recommend areas of improvement
