Specialist - Learning and Development - New Delhi (Six Sigma certification is must)
Job Purpose
1. Responsible for managing the Learning and Development (L&D) needs in the Group, for all the levels.
2. Creating a strong culture of learning and growth of self & company.
3. Support any other work items as may be required from time to time.
Core Responsibilities
1. Assess training and development needs across the Group through extensive stakeholder interaction, like surveys, interviews, and direct communication.
2. Interact with HR Heads, plant heads and others concerned, to understand the current L&D initiatives being implemented in individual units and synchronize common programs where possible.
3. Create, organize and implement training programs for employees with a global outlook.
4. Coordinate with vendors for specific training needs.
5. Conduct trainings, and maintain all records pertaining to L&D programs including attendance, results, feedback and any retraining needs.
6. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys and feedback.
7. Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development.
8. Introduce the use of technology in implementing L&D in the group including e-learning modules, Vibes for knowledge sharing etc.
9. Explore and implement Vibes as an effective internal knowledge sharing platform.
Support any other work items as may be required from time to time.
Key Interactions
1. Internal stakeholders HR teams, IT teams, others as may be needed.
2. External stakeholders DB team, and any other supplier who may be contracted for L&D.
3. HR Excellence and Communication team in New Delhi.
Experience
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Learning & Development, and supporting HR roles
- Six Sigma certification and experience is preferred .
Skills / Knowledge / Competencies
- Exposure to HR in large multinational setups
- Good understanding of HR and Learning & Development
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Peoples person
Education
Minimum Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or a similar field. An MBA/Masters degree is preferred
