HR Specialist - SCM / Freight Forwarding industry

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Specialist located in Mumbai. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for HR management, HR policies, employee benefits, and personnel management. The candidate will be expected to:

1. Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective Performance Management System that aligns with company goals and objectives, ensuring optimal employee performance and productivity

2. Utilize HR analytics to assess and analyse employee data, identifying trends and patterns that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning

3. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records and streamlined HR processes

4. Develop and execute innovative strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work culture, utilizing creative initiatives such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys

5. Manage and administer the compensation management program, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and performance-based incentives, ensuring fairness and competitiveness within the industry

6. Drive HR branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent, creating compelling employer branding campaigns and establishing.

7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills, and proactively implementing relevant policies and practices to support the company's HR objective.

Desired Skills:

- Expertise in Human Resources (HR) and Personnel Management

- Experience in HR Management and the ability to develop HR policies

- Knowledge of employee benefits and the ability to manage them effectively

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Atleast 10+ years experience in the logistics industry especially with truck ownership companies & freight forwarding companies.
