Specialist - Corporate Communications, Social Media & Platforms

Role : Specialist - Social Media & Platforms

Location : Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive the communication strategy and execution for Clients corporate social channels

- Proactively develop and deliver compelling social campaigns to strengthen the brand's social footprint and drive engagement and across all our social media platforms

- Ensure that the key social media themes, namely, Mother Brand, Heritage and Culture, Pioneering Practices, Outreach and Social Impact are developed and represented through these campaigns

- Collaborate with internal teams (in India and globally) to create social media campaigns to support their business needs and activities

- Meet and exceed the annual targets for Followers and Engagement on each social platform

- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Build and protect the online reputation :

- Own and align multiple stakeholders (internal and external) on changes and updates to the corporate website

- Liaison with customer services teams (India, US, UK and other territories) and Pharmacovigilance team for timely addressing of medical inquiries and adverse events reports. Support them during audits and activities where inputs are required from Corporate Communications.

- Contribute to a consistent corporate brand image and narrative

- Ensuring clients core values, brand voice, editorial style and brand guidelines are applied consistently across editorial, imagery and other content

- Provide inputs to brand and product teams (in India and globally) as they establish new digital marketing channels (social media pages/websites) and deliver content through these channels

Platforms for Communication and Engagement: The Role will need to support leadership communication and employee engagement on all internal online/social platforms

Technical Requirements :

Essential :

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

- Expertise in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Yammer and other social media platforms

- Ability to conceptualize innovative campaigns that connect with internal audiences to build pride in who are and what we do

- Ability to understand a brief from teams and work with the agency to execute

- Ability to communicate in a crisp manner especially in writing

- Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics / Hootsuite Pro / Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the companys social media presence and performance.

Desirable :

- An understanding of content design

- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

- Experience working directly with senior(C-Suite) stakeholders

- External Communications experience

Educational & Experience :

- MBA/Bachelors degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.

- Experience of communicating in the healthcare space will be a huge advantage
